In abstract art the image can be an essence of something rather than a straightforward object. It lets the viewer see what they want to see depending on their own experiences. What drew me to abstract art is that it lends itself to the imagination of both the artist and the viewer, flowing into shapes or colors without restraints. The beauty of abstract art is that no two people will look at a piece the same way and see exactly the same thing. I find it interesting to see what others see in a particular piece; it may be different than what I see or feel, making each piece of artwork unique to them.
